CAMPUS
Lakeside is located on a beautiful 200 acre aquaculture farm that raises both fish and shrimp, and is home to over 260 species of birds. The campus includes a dry tropical forest teaming with birds, monkeys, lizards and other flora and fauna.
Lining the edge of the farm are five different school buildings with a total of 28 classrooms. Our beautiful outdoor classroom is under the shade of a spectacular Malinche tree and students often have class in the picnic area affectionately known as Lakeside Park. All year students run the hydroponics vegetable garden located a short walk from the Park and our athletic field which will soon be home to a brand new sport court.
It is a spectacular place for a school, and we are thankful to call it our home.
Lakeside is ideally situated a short 15 minute drive from the local beach communities of Playas del Coco, Ocotal and Panama. We are approximately 15 minutes from the Liberia International Airport, and within easy travel distance of Liberia and all northern Nicoya Peninsula towns.
Both private and public bus service is available within the surrounding areas from Liberia to Santa Cruz and all points in between, including the local beach communities.
